Well, here I am, it is already September 2009. So much has changed.

I am done with volleyball until next spring. Seems like so far away. I was supposed to play on a dodgeball league, but that didn't work out. I hurt myself at my last volleyball tournament, so it's a good thing I have some time off.

Mustafa is back to playing football for North. Joe is playing flag football this year, with ME coaching!! He's having so much fun. I just love watching them play every week. They are starting to pick up on the plays, and having fun with all of it.

I'm looking for a new place. Getting out of this small apartment, and looking for something where I can spread out a little. Hoping to find something soon. My lease is up at the end of October, but I am starting to feel pressured to find something now. I am so anxious, I want to move now, but I need to be patient. Oh well, once the ball starts rolling, everything will happen so quickly - no worries.

I feel happy. I think my life is heading in the right direction, and that things will work out. I am happy to spend time with my boys. I am happy that I will be getting a bigger place soon, where we can live comfortably for a while. I am starting to think about the future. Mustafa will be getting his driver's license in a little more than a month. He only has 3 more years left in high school, and will be off to college somewhere. Joe is in second grade this year. I think he is really liking school.

I went to see Jason Mraz with Keara (Mustafa's girlfriend) August 20th. That was really fun. K'Naan, and G Love & Special Sauce opened for him. They were good. Jason was awesome. Great concert. Had a good time there with Keara.
